Very inaccurrate Rating:1 out of 5 stars I had difficulty getting the body fat to display, so I stepped of it to re-read the directions. I was following the directions correctly, however. I stepped on it again; still the body fat did not display AND I had gained 2 lbs in the minute I took to re-read the directions. I stepped off and back on again, same thing happen: no body fat display and the display read that I’d gained another 2 lbs. Very inaccurate and doesn’t display body fat! Do not buy it! Consider buying one of the Tanita scales instead.
Terrible! Rating:1 out of 5 stars This scale is awful. It never reads the same and is terribly inaccurate. I would step on the scale and it would read 100 pounds (for example, I weigh more than that!). Then, half an hour later, wearing the same clothes, I would weigh 97 pounds…half an hour later, all things being equal, it would read 105 pounds! I understand that a scale will fluctuate slightly not only because it isn’t a perfect high end doctor’s scale, but also because of natural fluctuations in our bodies’ water content, etc. but to have it change MULTIPLE POUNDS defeats the purpose of having a scale to begin with!
Consistent numbers! Rating:5 out of 5 stars One of my big complaints is having a scale that doesn’t read the same with repeated steps on the scale. This one is very consistent with only the occasional “crazy moment.” I’ve had others without batteries but I prefer to have one that I can change the batteries when the readings start to be inconsistent. This scale is thin, easy to move around the bathroom floor and the numbers are big and easy to read. If it could just help me lose weight, it would be perfect!
