  1. Evaluating the Scale
    Rating:3 out of 5 stars
The scale is large so it is easy to read. It is sturdy and well-made. I think it’s worth the money.

I am trying my hardest to lose weight and there’s only one thing wrong: The needle doesn’t go down as fast as I would like!

  2. Never received product
    Rating:1 out of 5 stars
I purchased this $30 item and was waiting to receive it, when the shipper left notice on my door that he had cone to deliver the package but that I needed to sign for it in order to receive it. Not only was this not necessary for such a small item but I signed his notice and told him to leave it at my door and he refused stating that I needed to be there. When I called amazon they said there was nothing they could do and that they didn’t know why it was marked signature required. To make a long story short I never received the package although it was at my door three different times but since a signature was requires and I’m always at work, the product was shipped back to Amazon an I was issued a refund. I didn’t want a refund I wanted my friggin scale! Stupid…

  3. nice for the price
    Rating:4 out of 5 stars
This scale a little larger the the average analog scale. It weights accurate every time and comes back to zero every time. It does weigh me 5 pounds lighter than my digital scale. Scale is attractive, light and fairly easy to read.

  4. Good Buy
    Rating:5 out of 5 stars
I did a lot of on line research before buying this scale. It was important to have an analog scale because I didn’t want to bother with batteries.(keep it simple!) As scales go, it is good looking. It has been quite accurate, easy to read. I feel I got a good value for my money.

  5. Great Product
    Rating:5 out of 5 stars
I love this scale. I have had digital scales many times even spending up to $70 on one. And every time I would get a digital scale it would soon stop working or a glitch would develop. With this scale though I don’t have to worry about it. Yes you may have to set the scale to zero every time you get on but hey it just takes moving the little dial and I can do that with my big toe before I get on it in the morining. This scale is great for me because I am on the larger side and it can hold me and my weight and more. The scale is sturdy, comfortable, a little hard to read if I don’t have on my glasses but other than that it does a perfect job for what I need. And I don’t have to worry about batteries or technical glitches or the infamous getting on a digital scale only for it to read “ERROR”. If you like analog or you are looking to make a switch this scale is worth your money.

  6. Only One Small Problem
    Rating:4 out of 5 stars
This scale is such an improvement to my past digital scales. It is nice and heavy so that there is no slipping on the tile. It seems to be very accurate. My only issue with this scale is that I need to put my eyeglasses on to see my weight. The short lines between 110, 110, etc. are a bit hard to see…..other than that I love this scale. Not having batteries to worry about is also a plus. You will not be disapointed.

  7. Not fency but like it!
    Rating:3 out of 5 stars
Quite stable scale! I then switch to use dial scale after using digital scale for a long time.

  8. Easy to read scale
    Rating:5 out of 5 stars
We bought this type because my color blind husband could not read a digital type scale. It’s simple. big, and easy to read.

  9. Inaccurate scales
    Rating:2 out of 5 stars
Price OK. Not impressed by the accuracy. Varies a few pounds each time you get on and off.

  10. Happy but heavy
    Rating:5 out of 5 stars
Well, I must admit the scale is very nice and easy to use. However, since the last one broke, I have felt pretty good about my weight. The clothes seemed to fit a little looser so I thought I was fine. Now, I know that I’m not and I need to kick in the workout afterburners.

However, I will be able to track my weight loss progress with this easy to use and easy to read scale.

  11. Save Your Money & Get Digital
    Rating:1 out of 5 stars
This scale is terrible. It needs to be recalibrated each time. I never trust the results. My weight can swing by 10 lbs in a day on this scale. Get a cheap digital scale and you will be better off.

  12. Made of PLASTIC, not glass
    Rating:2 out of 5 stars
Regardless of how this scale is described here, it is made out of PLASTIC, not glass. The 6.5″ dial is under soft easy to scratch plastic, not glass. There are no glass parts at all. None. Zero. The item description is misleading to say the least.

If this scale had glass protecting the dial, I would give it a much higher rating.

  13. Scales
    Rating:5 out of 5 stars
These scales were Right on the money out of the box.Easy to read and very accurate……

  14. Bathroon Scale
    Rating:3 out of 5 stars
This scale was too large for my bathroom. The numbers are large enough to read, but I had a hard time seeing the lines in between the numbers. I would have returned it but I had thrown the packaging away. I put it in my basement.

  15. Works as it should with one caveat
    Rating:3 out of 5 stars
The Thinner scale gives consistent weight. If the needle and weight marks were black instead of gray (have to lean over and squint which obviates the purpose of the large display), it would be grand.

  16. Very accurate!!!!
    Rating:5 out of 5 stars
I am a fitness nut, hit the gym 5 to 6 times a week and watch what I eat and monitor my weight. I have had more expensive scales. However, this scale IS accurate and consistent so I am surprised at some comments saying otherwise. I am pleased, for the price you can’t beat this scale, seriously.

  17. no accuracy
    Rating:2 out of 5 stars
this product is not able to callibrate correctly and must be reset before each use. not very happy with the overall use of this scale.

  18. NEED A SCALE???
    Rating:5 out of 5 stars
IF YOU NEED A NEW BATHROOM SCALE, THIS IS THE DEVICE FOR YOU…LARGE DIAL (EVEN A HALF BLIND FAT MAN LIKE ME CAN READ IT)…HIGH CAPACITY (I’M 6’5″ TALL AND WEIGH ABOUT 290#)…SO…SINCE THIS SCALE IS RATED TO 340# IF I KEEP ON LOSING WEIGHT TO GET TO MY (SOMEWHAT) IDEAL WEIGHT OF 235# IT WILL CONTINUE TO FUNCTION TO THE EXTENT OF IT’S DESIGN PARAMETER…YOU FOLKS THAT WEIGH MORE THAN 340# SHOULD KEEP ON LOOKING…THIS IS AN ANALOG SCALE, SO THERE IS NO CONCERN WITH BATTERIES WEARING OUT OR BECOMING “OBSOLETE” AND THE READOUT IS SIMPLE AND EASY TO READ…I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PIECE OF EQUIPMENT!

  19. Nice Scale
    Rating:3 out of 5 stars
This is a nice scale. I really like the large stepping area, but I only give it three stars because it is difficult to see the arrow and read your weight. I haven’t found it to be consistent in readings either, but that is most likely due to how a person stands on the scale. Overall, I’m pleased with the purchase and the price.

  20. Good Product – Value for Money
    Rating:3 out of 5 stars
I liked this product. It was a match to my expectation on price and quality.

If there is anything I have negative to say about it, it’s that the scale (might) sometimes, turn away from “0″. It rarely happens – but it happens.

It’s a good piece and I would not discourage anyone from buying it unless you’re very particular about those kind of things.

  21. Another Reviewer Noted…
    Rating:3 out of 5 stars
…that any scale’s readings will vary by circa 4 or 5 Lbs depending on how you shift your weight distribution while standing. That’s apparently just a fact with a scales – any scale. I haven’t bought one yet but I’ve been thoroughly reading all the reviews here for analog scales and this is the one I’m settling upon (since I had to pick some stars I picked 3 as the most neutral). Again, I haven’t tried this product yet but I figure it’s useful to note that the way one stands/distributes the poundage apparently affects the reading.

And this one looks good, too; hey, decor’s important.

  22. Thinner Scale – Conair
    Rating:4 out of 5 stars
Big dial as advertised but the numbers could be larger. Great price and accurate. Does not need to be adjusted once set.

  23. Attractive bathroom scale
    Rating:4 out of 5 stars
This is a basic and attractive bathroom scale. I have another scale that is upside down in my bathroom. “Why is it upside down?” you ask. Because it doesn’t work, and I’ve been trying to troubleshoot why it’s not working. It has all the bells and whistles, fat monitor and digital readout, but unfortunately it is impossible to get to work and it requires batteries.

That’s why I am so pleased with this scale. I simply step on it and it tells me what I weigh. I am not sure if it’s precise down to the nth digit. It’s difficult to read down to the pound because of the small iterations between the pound marks. I am just looking at my weight to see if I am up or down a couple of pounds, and this scale does precisely that. Plus, it’s really nice looking. 4 stars for looks and ease of use. Minus 1 star for not knowing your weight down to the nth level.

  24. Cheap, Barely Does The Job
    Rating:3 out of 5 stars
Tin – Like construction. The indicator starts off the zero, but I eventually get the job done.

  25. Good and repeatable weight measurements
    Rating:4 out of 5 stars
Overall I am pleased with this bathroom scale. I had a digital scale that drove me crazy with constantly inconsistent readings. This scale is accurate and repeatable. My only complaint is that the needle is gray and a bit difficult to see; if it were black it would be more visible.

  26. Straightforward and Simple
    Rating:5 out of 5 stars
This is the way products used to be. No flash. No complication. Same result every time. Sensitive to a pound or two difference. Performance not critical to position on platform. Temperature differences require a minor centering of the needle before weighing, using a small wheel at the base of the scale. Checked within a couple of tenths of a pound with an accurate digital scale I have. Solid product. Unbelievable price. I considered it accurate enough to use for weight and balance calculations on my homebuilt airplane.

  27. Indecisive scale
    Rating:1 out of 5 stars
This scale seems to change its mind by more than four pounds each time a person, or a weight, is placed upon it. Other reviewers said it was accurate, but I did not find it to be the case.

  28. Disappointed
    Rating:1 out of 5 stars
I am disappointed with my new scale. It is difficult to set the needle to zero, it wants to go to one side or the other, it has to be reset after each use, and worse, it is reading 10 pounds light. I would not recommend it to any other buyer.

  29. Weighs Great!
    Rating:5 out of 5 stars
What a pleasure to step on the scale and have it weigh the same almost every time. None of this on and off four times and take an average weight! Just a solid, functional scale – worth the money!

  30. Good
    Rating:3 out of 5 stars
Works good. I wish the arrow was red so it was easier to read against the numbers.
